About Us

Energy Chemical & Equipment Company is a family owned business established in 1979. Located in the beautiful market town of Southwell, Nottinghamshire, we design and manufacture an extensive range of Ram and Diaphragm pumps primarily for the Waste Water Treatment industries. With more than 40 years of experience within the industry, we have developed a good relationship with our customers, and their ultimate satisfaction with our products and service is the key to our success.

As one of the few remaining UK based manufacturers of industrial pumps, we continue to persevere with traditional engineering skills and provide an on-going outlet for quality British products.

Attention to detail

Attention to detail has always been central to the manufacture and supply of our equipment. Where possible we machine the various castings that make up the pumps “in house” and the pumps are then assembled by a small team of dedicated and skilled staff. The pumps are built to order specification to ensure that the customer can get the best performance from the pump for the job in hand. We also try to be as helpful as possible by assisting our customers with the siting of our pumps in order to get the best performance from them.

We have established Framework and supply agreements with Scottish, Thames, Wessex, Northumbrian and Yorkshire Water for the supply of Ram and Diaphragm pumps and are working to secure agreements with other major Utility companies.
