Surge Arrestors

Surge Arrestors are used to help maintain a constant flow of material through the pump.  Surge Arrestors help to increase the life of a pump, and also protect it against a surge of material from entering the pump, by ensuring that the flow stays at a constant rate. The Surge Arrestor will then allow the material to be processed once the flow has returned to the required flow rate.

The Surge Arrestors are placed on both the Inlet and Outlet of a pump, this not only helps to keep control of the flow coming into the pump, but they also control the flow of materials once they have left the pump.

Surge Arrestors can also be supplied with pressure gauges, which show the current pressure the material is flowing through at, they are often used on all of our pumps, and they have proved to be highly effective and popular, as the performance advantage they offer to the running of a pump and the pumping of the materials can be easily noticed.
